The impact of childhood sexual abuse and its associated stigma on depressed women in Egypt

Abstract Background Depression is common in women, childhood sexual abuse and its related stigma our culture are expected to increase the severity of depression, it may be a strong risk factor for presence suicidal ideations women. This study aimed look at relationship history depression depressed Methods A consecutive sample 160 women was enrolled this study. The structured clinical interview DSM-5 used diagnose Beck Inventory, second edition quantify severity. Results findings showed that 11.8% had under age 15 years.
